About The Book
When Ana inherits a broken-down camper van from her best friend, she takes the chance for a quick trip to Cornwall – some sea air and fish and chips on the beach is just the tonic she needs.
But St Felix has bigger plans for Ana. She discovers a series of unsent postcards, dating back to the 1950s, hidden in the upholstery of the van. Ana knows that it’s a sign: she’ll make sure that the messages reach the person that they were meant for. And as the broken-down van is restored to gleaming health, so Ana begins to find her way back to happiness.
I’m skeptical when it comes to books like, “the teashop” “the cafe” “the cottage by the beach” etc after reading some terrible ones a few years ago. But Daisy has won me over! I’m a huge fan of both Cornwall and campers so I had to try the book out when I spotted it on Kindle for only 99p. I’m mighty glad I did, because i flew through the book and even picked up an audiobook copy for holiday this month. (which yes, is in Cornwall as you asked) I loved the storyline with the postcards it was a nice bonus and made the story more enjoyable. I’m now considering checking out some more of these types of books to see if they are all hidden gems!
